Anti-bullying week at St. Finlough’s PS 2019
Featured are a few pictures of our anti-bullying week celebrations....
Our celebrations kicked off with ‘odd socks’ day highlighting that we are all different, unique and special.
Each class participated in a range of interactive lessons on how we can stop bullying behaviour, what we can do if we are being bullied and the importance of being mindful of our own behaviour.
Primary 6/7 presented a wonderful assembly this morning highlighting the various ways in which we can tackle and put an end to bullying behaviour. Our very own ‘who wants to be a millionaire’ host Megan, presented Casey with the jackpot having answered correctly some questions on how to deal with bullies. 👍 Thankyou to all our parents/guardians for coming in today.
Each pupil was asked to create an anti-bullying poster. The entries were all amazing, creative and unique. Well done everyone! Check out our featured winners.
Well done everyone. 🌟
Small change. Big difference.
Whether it is verbal, physical, online or in-person, bullying has a significant impact on a child’s life well in to adulthood. By making small, simple changes, we can break this cycle and create a safe environment for everyone. Because together, we can challenge bullying. Change starts with a conversation. It starts with checking in. It starts with work together.
Change starts here.
Change starts now.
Change starts with us.
