Today some of our Primary 7 pupils travelled to St. Eugene’s Catgedral in Derry to participate in the Mass to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The children entered the Cathedral with our school plaque featuring a photograph of our pupils. Our school was then presented with a beautiful Calla Lily. We were also accompanied by Mrs Patton. Mrs McCafferty and Miss Herron sang in the Derry Diocesan Schools Staff Choir and Mrs McCafferty also played the harp. Fr Baker concelebrated the Mass led by Bishop McKeown.
Our Primary 7 pupils were remarkable as always. A credit to themselves, their families and our school.
It was a really enjoyable morning, gathering together as a faith community, reminding us all of how special and strong the Catholic ethos of faith, hope and love is in our schools.
