ESSENTIAL GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED...

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am writing to remind you of the following procedures which must be followed to limit the spread of Covid-19 in our school, and to reduce the likelihood of school closure:

• You must check your child’s temperature each day before they go to school each day.
• 37.8°C or above is considered a high temperature.
• Parents are not permitted in the school without a prior appointment.
• NO NOT come to school if you have any signs of symptoms of Covid-19.
• Wash your child’s hands (not just hand sanitiser) just before they leave their home.
• It is advised that adults in your household download the Track and Trace app ‘StopCOVID NI.’
• Contact me via email: smccafferty143@c2kni.net at any time if any member of your household have been in contact with someone who have tested positive for Covid-19, or if anyone at home is symptomatic.
• If you have been tested for Covid-19, I will require written confirmation of your test results, whether negative or positive.
• Contact me if your child is considered clinically vulnerable, or are living with someone who is clinically vulnerable.
• Lunch boxes and water bottles must be cleaned daily. (Disposable is recommended).

I would also recommend that you download the 'Schools NI App' to keep up to date with our school website.  All communication will be made through our website.  We will be reducing the number of letters going home from now on.

We must all do it, to get through it.
