A massive thank you to all who braved the cold and came along to our grandparents day mass. Thank you to Monsignor McCanny for the beautiful mass, giving thanks to St. Brigid and of course to the role in which parents and grandparents play in the lives of our young people... “we stand taller on their shoulders....”
As always our children read and participated in the mass so well and sang out so beautifully. I also would like to express a word of thanks to Sharon who prepared the school building and salted the paths, to Mary, Sadie and Miss Logue for their help with the teas, to those who brought in rushes and to all the staff for their help in today’s afternoon.
It is truly evident the close knit community which we have here in St. Finlough’s PS. Wishing you a lovely weekend, Mrs McC.
