As part of the P6/7 topic of hunger the boys and girls have been listening and responding to the novel ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree’ by Martina Conlon-McKenna. This story is set in Ireland during the time of the Famine. The children have been working in small groups together to create model scenes from the book. Well done everyone!
