P6/7 science exploration at NWRC

Today, North West Regional College in Derry invited us along as part of their science week celebrations.  Children took part in a number of science experiments including creating the colours of the rainbow using acids and alkalines, creating a helmet for eggs using recycled material and finally testing the DNA of a strawberry in a molecular biology experiment.  Thank you to NWRC for hosting the event and for Mrs Morrison for organising our participation.  The children were, as always, superb!
