Today in preparation for lent we celebrated Shrove Tuesday. The children really enjoyed making the pancakes and of course tasting them too! This sparked a range of opportunities for cross curricular lessons; writing recipes, sequencing, measuring and predicting.
The children also discussed their Lenten promises, and the real reason to why we eat pancakes on this day.
