Schools funds contribution

Dear Parents/Guardians,

School Contribution

Because of continued educational cuts to school funding, every year we ask parents for a contribution to the School Fund. This is a voluntary contribution and we limit it to £25 per family. This year due to the Covid-19 Situation we will be very limited as to the types of fundraising we can carry out, so this year more than any other we do rely on this contribution.

What is School Fund used for?

School Fund is used for the benefit of all pupils at the school. Last year thanks to our parents generosity we were able to get the full interior of the school painted.

Other examples include:

• Supplementing library stock
• Additional teaching resources
• Prize Day expenses
• Online learning platforms such as mymaths and accelerated reader
• Improvement of the school environment
• Minor maintenance of the school

We are very grateful for our parent’s support throughout the year and thank you in advance.
